This is an authentic signed document by cuban father Felix Varela . Father Varela signed this document while working as Catedratico de Filosofia on the Real Colegio Seminario de San Carlos de la Habana. Father Varela is certifying the assistance of an student named Pedro de Jesus Diaz to one of his courses. Document is dated July 14 of 1818. Felix Varela is one of the Founding Fathers of Cuba and the only cuban being considered for Canonization as a Catholic Saint.
